The Wilbur H. Palmer Vocational - Technical Center, is a comprehensive Career and Technical Education Center that features programs of study in finance, accounting, agriculture mechanics/diesel technology, banking, engineering, multi-media, mechanical drawing, building trades, business, culinary arts, early childhood education, horticulture, health science, landscaping, marketing, natural resource management/forestry, agriculture business management, and veterinary science.

The program focuses on application-based education. Students, who are successful in the 18 Career and Technical Education programs, enter the work force, complete college and/or create and manage their own businesses. Many students are dual enrolled in a college while taking Career and Technical Education Programs. They receive college credit through the “Running Start Program”. Articulation agreements between the Career and Technical Education Programs and Northeastern colleges allow students to have a seamless transition between high school and college.

The center features many fully operational businesses that are open to the public during regular school hours, including Granite State Credit Union, Bronco Barn (Hallmark, convenience store), Checkers Restaurant, Little Broncos Pre-School, Blooming Broncos Greenhouse and Flower Shop, Alvirne Agri-Pet Kennel, our forestry program and of course the Alvirne Farm.
